FOR UpperElementary to Middle School Students-Ordering Recommendation:
You may want your own 3-Ring zipper binder or you may want to put each pocket set in your own 1" binder.
If this is the case, then just order a DocOA pocket only kit which will cover 5 subjects. Consider using these for PROJECTS if that is how your classes are organized. Order
two of these kits so you can have extra pockets or cover additional subjects or projects! You will
want to add some notepaper. Try our pak of 20 cornell 2 column notebooks to fill out
this need. Also consider getting a speed pad for doing homework(50pp college ruled
pad is included). In this way, you wont be ripping papers out of your class notebooks to do your
homework.
If you want to use our ring system in an economical configuration, then a great combination is to order the 5 pack of nested pocket sets WITH the cover upgrade pak.
This will provide a pencil case, set of 3 locking 1.5" rings and a set of 2 durable pressboard covers.
That will allow you to configure a compete binder "all-in-one" solution without having to go
out and purchase an expensive 3 ring binder that most likely will break in a couple of weeks.
Also, consider ordering our archive pak WITHOUT the rings.
The Archive pak comes with 6 sets of 2 rings and 6 heavy duty stasher pockets. You can place one stasher pocket with each color coded pocket set. The stasher is great for holding large bulky reports.
We recommend you order the pak of 20 Cornell Notebooks
so that you can put a journaling notebook into each workcenter cluster. With the cornell
pak, you will have 20 notebooks providing a starter notebook for each subject and 3 extra notebooks for each subject. That provides over 100pp per subject for the term to take
notes on. You can 3-hole punch the notebooks and pur them right on the rings or
keep them in a pocket for quick access.
One more thing: ARCHIVING. If you don's have an archive solution yet, consider ordering our
ARCHIVE PAK WITH RINGS. This will give you effectively 6 ring binders to keep all your
unit level work when you no longer need to carry it in your daily binder. This is the most
economical way to archive. Keep these archives at home and use them regularly to put away your
papers for later reference. This will allow you to keep the most streamlined daily binder going.
All of the items will appear below. Click on any one to add it to your basket. Consider ordering one of the peak performance training workshops and schedule your
seat at one of our short training sessions where we will review all of the big ideas
in organizing literacy that you will need to get it done.
